A B2B plastics partner for converters and manufacturers
SEMANAT combines plastics sourcing, market knowledge, an application-led approach, technical collaboration and supply organisation. Together, they let us check material against real requirements and match suppliers with buyers, so that converters get material that fits their production.
Five capabilities combined in one service

We work with companies across the plastics market: we look for ways to match each material with the right application, and we agree the scope of cooperation case by case.
Plastics sourcing
We source material from producers, distributors and industrial lots, working to your parameters rather than from a single catalogue.
Market knowledge
Availability, alternatives, off-grade lots and recyclates: the people behind SEMANAT know from experience where to look and what to ask.
An application-led approach
Your part and your process come first. The grade name is the outcome of the selection, not the starting point.
Technical collaboration
An experienced plastics technologist supports material selection and our blend and modification proposals.
Supply organisation
One-off lots and recurring streams, with documentation and logistics agreed in advance.
Market → SEMANAT → technology → customer
Four layers that we bring together in a single material decision.

- producers
- suppliers
- available material lots
- sourcing
- trading
- supply–demand matching
- finding applications for materials
- material selection
- application analysis
- technical collaboration where needed
- modification / blend proposals

A network across the plastics value chain
We draw on a network of industry contacts: petrochemical companies, recyclers, polymer and film producers, converters, compounders, logistics providers and industrial buyers. We do not publish the names of the companies we work with, as we treat commercial relationships as confidential.

Technology and buyers
We look beyond the product code
Many enquiries open with ‘Have you got 12 MFI PP?’ With us, the conversation can start earlier: with what you make, which process you use and what properties the part needs. Only then does it become clear whether the right answer is a standard grade, a regranulate, a compound or a modification.
- We discuss the application, not just the grade name
- We propose alternatives when the first choice is unavailable or too expensive
- We say plainly when requirements conflict or call for a compromise

Confidentiality. We treat our relationships with suppliers and buyers as confidential: we do not publish where material comes from, who it was delivered to or on what terms. Commercially sensitive information about either party is not published on our website and is not disclosed beyond the scope necessary for the agreed cooperation or commercial introduction, unless required by law.
From requirements to delivery
Requirements
We learn about your product, your process and what the part must do, even if you have no grade in mind yet.
Sourcing
We look for candidate materials on the market: standard grades, regranulates, compounds and non-standard lots.
Qualification
We check technical data sheets, lot documentation and the fit with your process.
Sample / trial
If needed, a sample or a production trial at your plant.
Offer
Availability, volume, delivery terms and documentation.
Delivery
One-off or on a regular schedule, with scope to optimise the material further.
A plastics technologist working with SEMANAT
SEMANAT works with an experienced plastics technologist. Their hands-on knowledge of compounding, the modification of engineering plastics (PA, PA6, PA66, PA+GF, PP+GF), fillers, additives and processing parameters lets us analyse application requirements and propose a modification route or a blend formulation for a specific part.
We do not run our own laboratory or compound production. The scope of work and how it is delivered are agreed individually for each project.

Let’s talk about your material
